Wise Life Design (“WLD”) is my exploration, curation, study and experimentation in high caliber communities, protocols, methods, and discussions on ideal living. I have been an avid consumer of such material for over ten years but only an amateur practitioner. Starting now with this blog I am “turning pro” – not in the actual sense, but in the Steven Pressfield sense which basically involves removing all pussyfooting, walking through the discomfort, and doing the fucking work, period. Sharing my experience publicly adds structure and accountability as I raise my game from a current 60% to 90% – I’m here to improve my life. If my journey and related musings benefit others in the process, that would be great too.
I am not an expert. Mine is an adventure in existing life hack, personal development and coaching concepts and my effort to find the right “goldilocks” recipe for me – to wisely design the best life I can. The work of life hack curation extraordinaire Tim Ferriss has been foundational in getting me to this point. His and many others’ fingerprints are omnipresent here. Primary influencers in my writing include the minimalism, early retirement, mindfulness, optimum health, life coaching and the Effective Altruism communities.
